Congratulations to John and Steve McDonagh of the Vancouver Business Journal. They had been planning to bring a fresh and relevant business information event to Clark County in 2013. They are off to a great start as tickets for the Board Room Breakfast Series have sold out. If you don’t have one call a frreind or check the sponsor list.
The Boardroom is a quarterly breakfast series and will showcase CEO’s from regional companies to share with us information about them and their company. They’ll be asked to share the unique factors present in their market sector, how they take advantage and leveraged them, what specific steps they took to survive and grow during the recession years and what they see on the horizon.
The first to enter the Boardroom will be John Rudi of Thompson Metal Fab, Wednesday March 6th.
Rather than the typical “talking head” address the Boardroom offers the opportunity to have a conversation with each CEO. The VBJ will begin with a few questions and then the conversation will be open to those in attendance to ask the questions about which they are most interested. Knowing our business community this will be a dynamic format and make for an informative and interactive exchange.
With the extensive supply of talented and successful companies here in Clark County we are looking forward to a great first year of speakers.
